This Country Planning Framework (CPF) sets the strategic direction for the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) in Colombia over the period 2016-2020. The CPF supports Colombia's national goals of economic growth, poverty reduction, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability. It is aligned with the organisational priorities articulated in GGGI's Strategic Plan 2015-2020, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Colombia’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC).
The CPF focuses on the following three outcomes:
- Outcome 1: The Government of Colombia makes progress in the definition and institutional articulation of a green growth vision, with long-term policies and financing alignment needed for its implementation.
- Outcome 2: Strategic sectors increase investments generating evidence of the benefits of green growth approaches.
- Outcome 3: Forestry sector becomes engine of green growth.
