This Country Planning Framework (CPF) sets the strategic direction for the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) in Vietnam over the period 2016 to 2020. It responds to national priorities and identifies gaps in current green growth activities, based on the objectives laid out in critical policy documents at the national and international levels, including the Vietnam Green Growth Strategy (VGGS), Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Outcome 1: Green growth objectives are mainstreamed into development planning processes and national financing arrangements.
- Outcome 2: Green energy uptake is increased through enhanced enabling environments and the development of bankable projects.
- Outcome 3: Green growth is integrated into Vietnam’s urban development strategies and bankable projects are developed.
