This report summarizes the best practice reporting recognized by the 2° Invest Awards, organized by the 2° Investing Initiative, the French Ministry for the Environment, and the French Treasury. The awards, presented in November 2016, were designed to recognize and identify best practice in the space of climate reporting by institutional investors. 30 investors participated from 9 countries. 7 investors were awarded across three categories, by a jury consisting of policymakers, NGO representatives, and investor coalitions. This report provides case studies and learnings from the analysis of investor’s reporting, based on the feedback and assessment of the jury. It provides guidance for institutional investors and asset managers on options for reporting across three key objectives.
