This report, Renewable Energy: A green growth assessment in Kalimantan, assesses the monetary costs and benefits associated with renewable energy projects in Central and East Kalimantan.

This report is a by-product of the partnership between the Government of Central Kalimantan and Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) in understanding the crucial link between economic growth and impacts on natural capital. It serves as a valuable guide to policymakers as it summarizes results and recommendations from the green growth assessement of four renewable energy projects: micro hydro, solar PV, biomass, and biogas.

This report also complements other efforts by Central Kalimantan and GGGI to integrate green growth objectives into planning documents, including the ongoing development of framework and a suite of tools that have been developed to help mainstream green growth into existing planning and investment appraisal processes.
