Tackling Climate Change in Cities: the Role of Best Practices

In recognition of their capacity to respond to climate change, cities around the world have engaged in best practices such as Green Infrastructure and integrated transportation policies to mitigate climate change impacts. Whilst, these common best practices that are discussed have benefits for human health, climate change is increasingly posing a greater risk to human health. Consequently, some cities have developed innovative best practices, that integrate science, technology, economics and politics to further enhance their climate resilience.
