Applications are now open for a post-graduate diploma in pesticide risk management being offered by the Environmental Health Division in the School of Public Health and Family Medicine at the University of Cape Town (UCT).
The programme offers students an interdisciplinary approach to pesticide risk management, risk reduction and risk prevention. It provides them with the skills to manage pesticide risks through a life-cycle approach and is structured around the implementation of the FAO/WHO International Code of Conduct on Pesticide Management.
This is a two-year flexible, distance-learning programme, using internet-based education technology.
