The Colombian National Planning Department, with the support of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) and the British Embassy in Colombia, have launched a set of free online Green Growth Training Modules towards building the capacities of mayors, governors, entrepreneurs, academics, and citizens on issues related to sustainability. This 9-module course covers topics such as Circular Economy, Green Business, Renewable Energy, Forest Economics, Bioeconomy, and Green Jobs.
The course was created to: (i) provide tools for mayors and governors to enable them to include Green Growth projects in their territorial plans, thus strengthening the sustainable development of the regions; and (ii) spread the concepts and tools of Green Growth into the private, public, and academic sectors in order to promote the generation of green jobs.
