This self-paced course is designed to support developing the inventories of hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD) listed under the Stockholm Convention. It provides useful information to understand the background and importance of HBCD inventory, and how to develop it with detailed information on HBCD in a life cycle perspective.
The course is based on the Guidance on Preparing Inventories of HBCD. The content is provided by UNEP with support from Basel Convention Coordinating Centre-Stockholm Convention Regional Centre in Latin America and the Caribbean Region (BCRC-SCRC-LATU), and the e-course is developed by Stockholm Convention Regional Centre for Capacity-building and the Transfer of Technology in Asia and the Pacific (SCRC China).

As part of the GEF-funded and UNEP-led “Global Development, Review and Update of NIPs under the Stockholm Convention on POPs” project, the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP) is executing Component 4, focused on disseminating information, managing knowledge and coordinating with the Stockholm Convention Secretariat to provide accessible, integrated tools and resources for all Parties.
