Introduction to Sustainable Consumption and Production in LAC

Transitioning towards Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) is key to achieving the 2030 Sustainable Agenda. The course “Introduction to SCP in LAC” aims to provide policy makers and other stakeholders with an introduction to SCP, as an approach to enabling sustainable societies in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) region.

The course is developed specifically for the needs of the LAC region. The pilot edition will take place 2 October – 24 November, 2017. The course is developed jointly by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and the United Nations Environment, Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean (ROLAC).

Participation in the course requires only basic internet connection and a total of 32 learning hours over an 8-week period (4 hours per week).
