Low emission development strategies (LEDS) are country-led and country-specific strategic plans to promote economic growth while simultaneously reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (in absolute and/or relative terms) over the long term.
This curriculum includes training on LEDS and the LEDS process. Specifically, it provides training on:
- organizing the LEDS process;
- assessing the current situation;
- analyzing and prioritizing options;
- implementing LEDS;
- monitoring LEDS;
- and other resources.
