The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), together with the World Adaptation Science Programme (WASP), will co-host Adaptation Futures 2020 in New Delhi, India on 27-30 April 2020.
Taking place in Asia for the first time, the conference - convening under the theme "accelerating adaptation action" - will have a strong focus on the region. India and other developing nations have been instrumental in making adaptation a global goal as called for under the Paris Climate Agreement. While adaptation requires a local and national set of actions, there is a need for significant global cooperation in meeting the resource requirements of developing countries.
The Adaptation Futures series is a unique platform to give visibility to the adaptation requirements of developing countries and generate dialogue among a diverse range of stakeholders, including academia, scientists and policymakers from around the world, around actionable solutions.
