On 22-26 January 2024, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Government of Switzerland will host the Bern III Conference on Cooperation Among the Biodiversity-related Conventions for the Implementation of the Kunming-Montreal GBF.
The conference aims to identify opportunities to strengthen collaboration among multilateral environment agreements in implementing the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) at all appropriate levels.
It will also identify opportunities to foster and coordinate an inclusive and collaborative approach towards GBF implementation while respecting the mandates of biodiversity-related conventions and other relevant multilateral environmental agreements and UN organizations.
