On 28-29 June 2018, the REN21 is hosting the CEEW Renewable Energy Dialogue 2018 in New Delhi, India.
Globally, an energy transition is underway, with renewable energy at its centre. India, with its mammoth renewable energy targets, is rapidly becoming a leader in this global energy transition. As the renewable energy sector around the world, and in India in particular, moves beyond infancy, there is growing need for the sector to be supported by dynamic policies, technology innovation, robust financial architecture, and deep markets. It is imperative that the renewable energy scale up is both timely and efficient. The CEEW Renewable Energy Dialogue offers a platform for engaged deliberations on the role of different stakeholders in advancing renewable energy deployment, balancing both domestic priorities and international mitigation ambitions and commitments. The Dialogue aims to be India’s flagship forum to discuss the opportunities for accelerating the adoption of renewable energy, as well as consider solutions to the challenges plaguing the renewables sector.
The 2018 edition of the CEEW Renewable Energy Dialogue will have a specific focus on market creation and market trends. With participants from all relevant stakeholder communities, and multiple geographies, the RE Dialogue will reduce information asymmetries and make incisive calls for impactful actions.
