The World Resources Institute (WRI) and the NDC Partnership welcome Chile’s new High-Level Climate Action Champion Gonzalo Muñoz to speak about priorities for the next international conference on climate change (COP25) which will take place in Santiago, Chile in December 2019.
This hour-long conversation will feature Mr. Gonzalo Muñoz Abogabir, who will share COP25 priorities and the Chilean presidency’s plans to leverage the conference to raise global ambitions ahead of 2020.
Mr. Muñoz was nominated by Chilean President Sebastián Piñera to be the High-Level Champion for COP25 on 11 April 2019. Mr. Muñoz is a social and green entrepreneur and founded Triciclos, one of Latin America’s leading recycling companies, which operates as a B Corporation. He has been a leader in promoting the work of New Plastics Economy. At the latest World Economic Forum, he was awarded the Circulars Award for promoting the circular economy. He also has received awards from the Schwab Foundation, the BMW Foundation, among many others.
