On 14-15 September 2022, ICLEI Europe and the European Environment Agency (EEA), in collaboration with the City of Athens, are hosting European Urban Resilience Forum 2022: Connecting cities for a resilient future in Athens, Greece.
The European Urban Resilience Forum (EURESFO) is a unique exchange platform for city representatives, experts and stakeholders from local and regional institutions to discuss strategies, initiatives and actions for adapting to climate change, managing disasters and building urban resilience.
EURESFO will keep its informative, open and interactive character, maintaining its 'PowerPoint free' format. Participants are encouraged to share experiences and points of view on a variety of topics that will explore challenges in urban resilience planning and implementation.
Some topics that will be highlighted this year include coastal resilience, tackling heat waves and wildfires, disaster risk reduction and nature-based solutions for equitable development.
