Financing Climate Futures: Rethinking Infrastructure

On 13 March 2019 8:00 AM - 9:15 AM a high-level panel discussion on the theme of Financing Climate Futures: Rethinking Infrastructure is being held in Nairobi, Kenya with the support of the German Ministry of the Environment (BMU), the OECD, UN Environment and the World Bank Group.

Infrastructure currently makes up more than 60% of greenhouse gas emissions. To meet the Paris Agreement goals, alignment of financial flows towards a low emission, resilient future, is urgently needed. The high-level representatives from leading international organizations, governments, and financial institutions can work together on the transformative agenda needed to align financial flows with a low-emission, resilient future, and effectively reach the goals of the Paris Agreement.
