On 11 November 2022, the Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) will host GLF Climate: Frontiers of Change – How to Achieve Net Zero in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, with online sessions occurring simultaneously. The conference will run alongside COP27.
The hybrid conference will assess progress since COP26 and call for a just transition to a decarbonized economy. It will focus on five thematic areas:
- Restoring landscapes
- Resilient and regenerative adaptation
- Community finance and land rights
- Social and environmental justice
- Innovative climate finance solutions
Packed with insights on adaptation, restoration, land rights, climate finance and environmental justice, GLF Climate will provide participants with the knowledge, tools and connections needed in the growing restoration movement.
Registration is free for NGOs and community-based organizations in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as for youth participants.
