On 10-11 October 2024, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development(OECD) will host the Green Growth and Sustainable Development Forum and Global Forum on Trade.
The meeting will explore how trade policies can address the triple planetary crisis by promoting environmental goods and services (EGS) and fostering a circular, low-carbon economy. Sessions will focus on measuring carbon footprints along supply chains, promoting cross-border investments into low-carbon assets, and the impact of green industrial policies on international trade.
The event will also address the challenges and best practices for greening maritime transport, which plays a significant role in global trade.
