On 1 July, from 12:00-14:00 GMT, the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) will host the launch of the new report "Green Growth in Practice: Lessons from Country Experiences". The event will take plact at the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) and will also be broadcast online.

The report marks the first comprehensive global assessment of lessons and good practices in green growth planning.  It features 60 case studies from developing and developed countries, and reviews governments’ and others' experiences.

Supported by CDKN, the European Climate Foundation and the Global Green Growth Institute, the report provides a wealth of information on effective approaches for harnessing the power of resource efficiency and climate compatible development for advancing economic, social and environmental goals.

Authors of "Green Growth in Practice: Lessons from Country Experiences" will present key findings from the report, then invited experts and the audience will have a chance to discuss the value of these results for global efforts around green growth.
