On 15 November (12:15-13:30 PM CET) the Centre for International Environmental Studies at the Graduate Institute Geneva is hosting, Hammer and Nails: The promise and pitfalls of pursuing global collaboration for a green economy, a lunch event in cooperation with the Green Growth Knowledge Platform.
Transition towards Green Growth
The Head of the Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP), Ben Simmons, will discuss the work of the GGKP's in empower collaboration within global expert networks, by engaging communities through GGKP's online platforms, with the support of a strong knowledge base. During the event, there will be a focus on how the policy community is not enough to make a transformational change towards green growth, and why green industry and green finance are needed to push the transition even further.
Along with the introduction of the GGKP's strategy, John Maughan, Research Programme Manager at GGKP, will present learnings from the GGKP research programme, with insights into the opportunities and challenges associated with collaborative research.
