On 3 August 2021, the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) is hosting a webinar Chinese on green bond principles.
Green bond principles, as well as social bond principles, sustainability bond guidelines and sustainability-linked bond principles (together “the Principles”), are the global standard for sustainable bonds. With a scale of a $1.6 trillion, the sustainable bond market represents the largest source of market finance dedicated to sustainability available internationally to corporates, banks and sovereigns. In 2020, the Principles, managed by ICMA, were referenced by an estimated 97% of sustainable bonds issued globally.
As the secretariat of the Principles, ICMA will organize this briefing session to present important updates to Chinese-speaking market participants, promoting best market practices and consistency in the onshore and offshore markets.
