On 10 September 2025 (11:00-12:30 CEST/12:00-13.30 EAT), the World Bank is organizing a session during the Second Africa Climate Summit on Integrating Natural Capital into Policies for Climate Resilient Development in Africa.
The session aims to address the critical role of natural resources in the continent's economies and livelihoods, recognizing that nature-based sectors are key for job creation.
It will bring together key policymakers, practitioners and development partners to discuss and propose concrete actions on how Natural Capital Accounting (NCA) can be used to mainstream natural capital into policies and investments.
