On 12-14 May, the Global Landscapes Forum is hosting Kyoto 2019 Digital Edition. The 24-hour broadcast pulls together interactive webinars from all over the world, as well as the live broadcast of GLF Kyoto 2019.

On May 13, the world’s leading experts on climate change will gather for the Global Landscapes Forum in Kyoto, Japan, 22 years after the signing of the Kyoto Protocol, the first legally binding treaty to cut greenhouse gases.

GLF Kyoto 2019 will focus on sustainable landscapes as a critical part of the climate solution. The “Climate, Landscapes and Lifestyles: It is Not Too Late” GLF event will bring together the best minds from science, development agencies, government, indigenous peoples, civil society and project implementers to share on-the-ground solutions for a climate smart future.

What is the Digital Edition?

It's a chance to join a global discussion forging new ways to slash emissions and create climate-smart futures – all while staying home and keeping your own carbon footprint firmly in check. Besides broadcasting the GLF Kyoto conference in real time, the Digital Edition will also share a selection of crowd-sourced videos and take viewers on a virtual world tour to hear from communities and experts on the frontlines of change.
