On 26-28 May 2020, the Alberta Land Institute will hold the Land Use 2020 conference in Alberta, Canada.
Land Use 2020 marks the Alberta Land Institute’s fourth land-use conference. This conference program is specifically designed to bring together policy makers, stakeholders, and academics to engage with expert researchers and practitioners from around the world on the use of market-based instruments to conserve biodiversity and ecosystems. The conference allows participants to engage in discussions and powerful presentations that will address and highlight the impacts of biodiversity offsets in policy and practice.
A half-day introduction to offsetting for biodiversity is being offered for both conference attendees and others wanting only the introduction.
