On 17 November 2020 at 9:30 am CET, the World Trade Organization (WTO) is organising an event "Launch of the structured discussions on trade and environmental sustainability" in the context of "Trade and Environment Week 2020".
The event aims at launching the communication on trade and environmental sustainability at WTO. The goal of the communication is to create a structured discussion, starting in early 2021. The structured discussions will allow interested WTO Members, as well as non-WTO experts (e.g. academics, NGOs, IOs and the private sector) to explore together the nexus between trade and environmental sustainability.
