Professor Kemal Derviş is Vice-President and Director of Global Economy and Development at the Brookings Institution. He was Head of the United Nations Development Programme, Minister of Economic Affairs of the Republic of Turkey and a Vice-President of the World Bank. He holds a PhD in Economics from Princeton University.
