On 18 November 2025 (08:45-13:30 CET), the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform will host a roundtable to address the challenges and opportunities in the global second-hand trade.
Three thematic panels will explore how to enable cross-border trade in second-hand goods through updated regulations, harness digital innovation to support more informed and sustainable consumer choices, and place reuse, repair and refurbishment at the core of the Circular Economy Act.
Speakers include Jana Hošková, Deputy Head of Unit in the European Commission's Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers; Stefano Mauro, Policy Director, Taxation & e-Logistics, Ecommerce Europe; and Els Bruggeman, Head of Policy and Enforcement, Euroconsumers.
