Seventh Meeting of the Forum of the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean on Sustainable Development

On 15-18 April 2004, the UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) is hosting the seventh meeting of the Forum of the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean on Sustainable Development.

During the regional forum, representatives of governments, the United Nations, international organizations, the private sector, academia and civil society will analyze the progress and challenges for fulfilling the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Latin America and the Caribbean.

It will also provide opportunities for peer learning through voluntary reviews, the exchange of best practices and the discussion of shared targets. Outcomes of the meeting will be relayed to the United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF).
