On 20-23 September 2024, the United Nations will host the Summit of the Future, a high-level event bringing world leaders together to forge a new international consensus on how to deliver a better present and safeguard the future.
This summit will culminate in the adoption of the Pact for the Future, featuring the Global Digital Compact and a Declaration on Future Generations as key annexes.
It also aims to address the critical need for effective global cooperation, which has become increasingly challenging amid mistrust and outdated structures that no longer reflect current political and economic realities.
