Sustainable Consumption Week of Latin America and the Caribbean

United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of Colombia and the Secretariat of Consumer Defense of Paraguay, with the support of the European Commission, and the Federal Ministry of Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety of Germany (through GO4SDGs and IKI Advance SCP projects), is organizing the Sustainable Consumption Week of Latin America and the Caribbean

The Sustainable Consumption Week of Latin America and the Caribbean is a place for the creation and exchange of the advances, opportunities, and challenges of the region to promote sustainable consumption as part of the economic and social recovery. The objective is to generate a dialogue on current consumption patterns in the region and how to gaze at the opportunity of "going back to normal" to promote changes towards sustainable and responsible consumption, promoting sustainable lifestyles, education, and consumer information, including the use of eco-labeling as an information tool for consumers.
