On 31 March 2026 (10:00-11:00 CEST/15:00-16:00 ICT), the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) will host a webinar on Trade Policy for Plastics Circularity in ASEAN.

The World Economic Forum’s Global Plastic Action Partnership (GPAP) and UN-ESCAP have led an analysis in cooperation with the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) to identify how ASEAN members can use trade and investment policy to speed the transition to a circular plastics economy, while strengthening the region’s industrial competitiveness.

This workshop will present the outcomes of this analysis, along with a demonstration of using TINA as a tool to extract and visualize plastics-related trade data for ASEAN countries.
