On 30 September 2022, the International Trade Centre (ITC) will host the Trade for Sustainable Development Forum 2022 in Geneva, Switzerland.
The meeting will focus on corporate sustainability governance and the due diligence of companies to support sustainable development and potential to achieve transformational change. It will take a critical look at the evolving regulatory landscape and how it will impact small-business owners, especially in developing countries.
The different panels will try to place due diligence in today's context and how it can be linked to risk mitigation in a world facing supply chain disruption, geopolitical instability and climate change. Objectives for the panels evolve around breaking down the corporate sustainability due diligence concept, the implications of due diligence regulations, sustainable transformation and its measures for implementation.
