On 11-22 November 2024, the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) of the UN Climate Change Conference will bring together world leaders and government representatives to assess progress on global climate efforts under the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Under the presidency of Azerbaijan, the conference will emphasize transparency, inclusivity, and ambition, bringing together 198 Parties to collaboratively address the urgent challenges posed by climate change.
COP29 aims to facilitate meaningful discussions and negotiations on climate action, with a focus on limiting global warming to 1.5°C. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in vital dialogues that shape the future of global climate policy.
