On 27-29 September VAIVÉN 2022 will bring together in person and virtually, different institutions and key players in Latin America and the Caribbean, to build bridges on the road to the transition to circularity. The Circular Economy Festival seeks especially to reach country representatives and representatives of the main organizations in the region. It will serve to foster exchange of experiences, spur the discussion of global trends, and raise awareness of the specific challenges and opportunities in the region.
This third edition of the Festival complements the plenary sessions with practical workshops and interactive spaces that will energize the exchange and seek to put into practice what was discussed in the presentations. Both the plenaries and the workshops have been specially designed with partners members of the Circular Economy Coalition of Latin America and the Caribbean: United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Ellen MacArthur Foundation (EMF), Climate Technology Center and Network (CTCN), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Costa Rican Ministry of Environment and Energy (MINAE).

Tercera edición del VAIVÉN 2022: Festival de Economía Circular en América Latina
El VAIVÉN 2022 reunirá los días 27, 28 y 29 de septiembre, de manera presencial y virtual, a distintas instituciones y actores clave de la región y sus países, para generar puentes en el camino de la transición hacia la circularidad. El Festival de Economía Circular busca especialmente llegar a representantes nacionales y representantes de las principales organizaciones de la región mediante el intercambio de experiencias, la discusión de tendencias globales, y dar a conocer los desafíos en América Latina y el Caribe.
Esta nueva edición el Festival complementa las plenarias con talleres aplicativos y espacios interactivos que dinamizarán el intercambio y buscarán llevar lo conversado en las exposiciones, a la práctica. Tanto las plenarias como los talleres, han sido especialmente diseñados con socios miembros de la Coalición de Economía Circular de América Latina y el Caribe, tales como: Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Centro y Red de Tecnología del Clima (CTCN), Organización de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo Industrial (ONUDI), Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL), el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) y el Ministerio de Medio Ambiente y Energía de Costa Rica.
El Festival es un evento híbrido que se realizará del 27 al 29 de septiembre en Lima, Perú, y se transmitirá mediante zoom para todos los usuarios registrados.
