On 7-9 May 2018, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) is hosting a Global Conference on Prosperity through Hydrological Services in Geneva, Switzerland.
The conference aims to catalyze collaboration among key stakeholders in international programmes and to strengthen the delivery capabilities of National Hydrological Services, through initiatives such as the WMO Global Hydrological Status and Outlook System. It is also expected to assist countries in their efforts to contribute to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, including the eleven Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to water issues.
