Final unedited version of the UNEA 5/12 Co-Chairs’ Summary Report

This Summary Report was developed by the Co-Chairs appointed by the Secretary-General to the United Nations to lead the intergovernmental consultations, mandated in resolution 5/12 (UNEP/EA.5/12) of the United Nations Environment Assembly. The Global Intergovernmental Meeting was held on 7 and 8 September 2023 in Geneva, Switzerland. The Co-Chairs’ Summary of the Global Intergovernmental Meeting on Environmental Aspects of Minerals and Metals Management is now available as an information document to the sixth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly, as mandated in paragraph 6 of that resolution.
