The Forest Products Sector Guide was developed by WBCSD’s Forest Solutions Group (FSG) on behalf of the Natural Capital Coalition, with technical support from PwC. It offers a standardised decision-making framework to support businesses along the forest products value chain in identifying, measuring, and valuing their impacts and dependencies on natural capital.
Like the Natural Capital Protocol itself, the guide was developed for business. It is aimed primarily at managers from sustainability, environmental, and operations departments from companies along the forest products value chain.
