This guidance provides an overview of adaptation indicators and the challenges in measuring progress, while also introducing the type of indicators, tips for selecting indicators, as well as the benefits and challenges of using indicators.
With the aim of enhancing climate change adaptation capacity and initiatives, the guide provides a starting point for municipalities and communities that are developing or updating climate adaptation plans and need to identify relevant, measurable indicators, specifically through the provision of a list of over 70 indicator examples.
