Pocket Guide to the BRS Gender Action Plan

This guide outlines actions for Parties and the Secretariat to mainstream gender in implementing the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm (BRS) Conventions. It covers the BRS Gender Action Plan, training, staffing, SOPs and monitoring.

The Secretariat promotes equality in staffing, builds skills, and embeds gender considerations in policies and reporting.

With partners, it integrates gender into projects through outreach, capacity-building, pilot initiatives and support at COPs and subsidiary meetings.
