The electricity sector across Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) territories is commonly characterized by high electricity rates, heavy reliance on imported fossil fuels, and vulnerability to natural disasters and other threats.

This document provides guidance to regional electricity sector decision-makers in developing or improving their own frameworks for integration of renewable energy distributed generation power generation facilities in electricity networks across the OECS region.

It should prove useful in developing procedures for interconnection of customer-owned renewable energy facilities to the grid.
