Jordan Technology Needs Assessment for Climate Change Report III: Technology action plans (TAP)

The report Jordan Technology Needs Assessment for Climate Change Report III: Technology action plans (TAP) documents the actions and activities needed in response to the outcomes of a systematic and long process of assessing the obstacles and limitations that are hindering the widespread diffusion and deployment of climate change technologies in Jordan.

This report is the third and final report of the activities on which Jordan embarked under the Technology Needs Assessment (TNA). The actions presented in the document translate the measures (incentives) needed to overcome the identified barriers. The actions carried out to remove the identified barriers should enable the frameworks in maximizing and enhancing the dissemination of technologies effectively and steadily to tackle climate change in Jordan. The TAP's provide a comprehensive description of the action plans for mitigation and adaptation technologies, partly based on Report no. II "The Barrier Analysis and Enabling Framework (BA&EF) Report".

The TAP report is supplemented by specific project ideas, submitted in separate chapters after each TAP, outlining concrete actions that can contribute to meeting the ambitions identified in relation to the TAP. Various actions and prioritized technologies have been proposed in energy, transport, water, and agriculture sector.
