Projects News

The International Center for Climate Governance (ICCG) has begun the fourth edition of its Best Climate Practices (BCP) contest, this year dedicated to the urgent goal of Expanding access to climate financing.

The Best Climate Practices 2016 contest will focus on ideas and projects designed to raise and drive financial support toward local, small-scale mitigation and adaptation actions and/or to increase inclusiveness and simplify access to climate finance (addressing, for example, investors’ risks, transparency, predictability, flexibility or accountability issues).

From March 15 until May 30 individuals or teams can submit existing projects or brand new ideas via the Best Climate Practices online platform.

The winner will receive a prize of €3000 to use on developing their project or idea.

Submissions will be assessed by an international panel of experts and voted on by public online polls.
