
The EU-funded EKLIPSE Project aims to establish a robust and flexible long-term mechanism to provide knowledge for policy support on biodiversity and ecosystem services. It aims to communicate and engage with a wide set of knowledge holders in its work to ensure tailor-made results to knowledge requesters and society more broadly.
EKLIPSE has recently issued four open calls that may be of interest to the broader GGKP community:
Call for Nominations for Members of Knowledge Coordination Body (KCB) – deadline 15 June 2018
Do you have expertise and interest in enhancing the Science Policy Interface? Would you like to contribute to policy‐relevant processes? Do you want to contribute to the selection of policy relevant requests to be addressed? Are you interested in collaborating in a trans‐disciplinary and multi‐cultural setting? If yes, submit your application to join the EKLIPSE Knowledge Coordination Body (KCB) from August 2018-October 2019.

Extended peer-review and open consultation on the methodological protocol of the EKLIPSE business request – deadline 15 June 2018
The EKLIPSE project is calling for extended peer review on a Methodological Protocol for supporting SME's in the EU food and beverage sector to improve their environmental performance. Reviews can be submitted through the online form by 15 June 2018.

Invitation to request knowledge for informed decision-making – deadline 30 June 2018
The EKLIPSE project invtes policy and other actors to identify topics or evidence needs relating to biodiversity and ecosystem services and of EU policy relevance, requiring in-depth analysis and a consolidated view from science and other knowledge holders. Interested parties – including consortia – should apply by following the rules and procedures detailed in the Call. Selected requests will be announced weekly starting 17 September 2018 on the EKLIPSE website. The process of answering these requests will start thereafter.

Call for the organisation of capacity building events linked to the Science-Policy-Society interface, regarding biodiversity, ecosystem services and related challenges – deadline 15 August 2018
Do you have an idea for a seminar, short course or other kind of training event? EKLIPSE is inviting representatives of networks, organisations, projects and other entities to submit proposals to develop capacity building events relevant to the Science-Policy-Society interface, regarding biodiversity, ecosystem services, and related challenges. Selected proposals will receive support for the organisation, expertise and/or facilitation necessary for a successful event.
