Ethiopia, a case study on Africa’s first green growth strategy

The OECD has produced a case-study on inclusive green growth in Ethiopia, showcasing the progress and prospects of green growth in Ethiopia, one of Africa’s first countries to develop a such a strategy. The paper provides background on the Ethiopian inclusive green growth perspective, potentials and problems that shape the green economy in Ethiopia, examples of initiatives in Ethiopia today, as well as reflections on Ethiopia’s progress to date and approaches for moving forward.
