The Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP) is looking for a dynamic intern to assist with its research activities.

The GGKP is a ground-breaking partnership between over 25 leading international organizations, research institutes and think tanks focused on:

i. Collaboratively identifying knowledge gaps in green growth theory and practice;
ii. Catalyzing knowledge generation to address these gaps; and
iii. Sharing and disseminating green growth knowledge.

Its founding members, the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and the World Bank comprise GGKP’s Steering Committee, and provide strategic direction and oversight for the initiative.

UNEP and GGGI jointly manage the GGKP office on behalf of the founding members and other partners.

Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Head, Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP), the Research Intern will be responsible for the following:

  • Identify, collect and categorize green growth resources to be part of the GGKP resources library,including green growth research and analysis, policy papers, working papers, journal articles, books and case studies;
  • Collect and draft, as appropriate, short summaries and abstracts of green growth research and analysis;
  • Support and facilitate the work of the GGKP pilot research committee on: i) trade and competitiveness; ii) innovation; iii) indicators ; and iv) fiscal instruments; and
  • Support the GGKP office with research-related web content development.
