A green and inclusive recovery: Building sustainable responses to emergencies
Tying to the theme of the second Stockholm+50 leadership dialogue, “Achieving a sustainable and inclusive recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic,” this webinar will reflect on creating a lasting, equitable and sustainable recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Two years after its onset, nature and biodiversity have mostly been neglected in stimulus packages. Yet, economic recovery still presents a unique opportunity to direct resources where they can make a lasting positive impact. Speakers will address how we can ensure economic investment does no harm to nature and livelihoods. This session took place on 29 March 2022.

Turning commitments into action in a new digital, financial and policy landscape
With a multitude of international agreements and frameworks in existence, a critical question remains: how do we turn these commitments into tangible results? Drawing expertise from individuals across policy, finance and business sectors, the webinar will address how can we bridge the implementation and enforcement gap and the tools and services needed for countries to effective monitor and achieve progress. This session took place on 26 April 2022.
