Call for Applications
The new edition of the Little Green Data Book, the World Bank’s annual compilation of environmental data, was released on World Environment Day 2013. The book contains data on 55 key indicators, including GDP, population, deforestation, water use, energy use and electricity use per capita. The book also includes an adjusted net savings (ANS) indicator which monitors whether depletion of natural capital, such as minerals or forests, is compensated for by investment in other assets, such as human capital or infrastructure.
