New report highlights trade opportunities in the transition to a green economy

UNEP has released a new report analyzing six economic sectors where new trade opportunities exist in the transition to a green economy. The report outlines the significant and real opportunities for developing countries to diversify their economies and position themselves to benefit from the growing demand for green goods and services. The report identifies areas where public and private actions, e.g. investment, market-based instruments and regulatory frameworks, can help developing countries benefit from these markets.
