GO4SDGs and The Yield Lab Institute launched The Sustainable AgTech Challenge in Latin America and the Caribbean for innovations and startups with products, services and/or technologies that are contributing to fight the causes and impacts of climate change, thus creating more regenerative, sustainable and inclusive agrifood systems.
The call for this challenge is aimed at innovations and startups with products, services and/or technologies that are contributing to fight the causes and impacts of climate change, thus creating more regenerative, sustainable and inclusive agrifood systems.
The Sustainable AgTech Challenge received 115 applications from around the world; 84 from Latin America and 31 from countries such as United States, Spain, China, Japan, Canada, France, Tanzania, among others. The applications were classified according to three categories: Crops intensive (59 applications); Extensive crops (48 applications); and Proteins (21 applications).
