The Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP) has released a series of six working papers on "Fiscal Policies and the Green Economy Transition". The working papers explore the challenges and opportunities associated with reforming green fiscal measures and provide policy guidance on an effective design and implementation of fiscal instruments for a green economic transition.
The papers were commissioned on behalf of the GGKP Fiscal Instruments Research Committee, to be presented as drafts for discussion at the Third GGKP Annual Conference, which was held in January 2015 on the topic of "Fiscal Policies and the Green Economy Transition: Generating Knowledge – Creating Impact".
Each paper in the series addresses a unique question or knowledge gap in the theme of green fiscal reform, and has been authored by top experts in their respective fields. The process of developing this working paper series was carefully and collaboratively guided with the assistance of the 18 experts making up the GGKP Fiscal Instruments Committee and the commissioned authors.
